Rural-Urban Differences in Objective and Subjective Measures of Physical Activity: Findings From the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2003-2006
Study focused on a nationally representative sample of micropolitan rural, nonmicropolitan rural, and urban adults aged 20-75 years. Compared amounts of time residents in each category spent in physical activities related to leisure, household activities, and transportation, with breakdowns by race/ethnicity, educational attainment, marital status, sex, and country of origin.
