Native American Congressional Internship
A summer internship for Native American and Alaska Native students who wish to learn more about the federal government and issues affecting tribal and federal relationships.

Leading Equity and Diversity in the Medical Scientist Training Program (LEAD MSTP)
Funding for eligible institutions to develop and implement effective, evidence-informed approaches to fully integrate the transitional phases of dual-degree training and mentoring that will lead to the completion of both clinical degrees and research doctorate degrees. Eligibility is limited to dual-degree training programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and institutions within Institutional Development Award (IDeA)-eligible states.

New York State Age-Friendly Health Systems Action Community
Learning community in New York that includes a virtual summit, monthly webinars, and topical coaching calls designed to incorporate evidence-based practices and transform the care given to older adults. Participants include Federally Qualified Health Centers and community-based social service organizations, among others.

Minnesota Community Health Worker Capacity Building Demonstration Grant
Grants to add and/or sustain a Community Health Worker position and participate in the Minnesota Community Health Worker Registry.

Native American Summer Research Internship (NARI)
A 10-week paid summer research opportunity for Native American undergraduate junior and senior students who are interested in Health Science research. The internship is located at the University of Utah.

New Mexico AHEC Scholars Program
A multidisciplinary certificate program for health professions students in New Mexico that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural and underserved communities, and networking with other students and professionals.

New York Community Mental Health Loan Repayment Program
A loan repayment program to support licensed community mental health programs in New York in the recruitment and retention of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatric physician assistants, especially in shortage areas of the state.

Ohio J-1 Visa Waiver Program
Offers a J-1 Visa waiver to foreign physicians who commit to serving for 3 years in an underserved area of Ohio, allowing them to remain in the United States.

South Carolina Summer Fellowship
A summer fellowship program for students who are interested in working to improve health outcomes in rural South Carolina.
