The Indiana Primary Care Scholarship Program (IPCSP) offers scholarships to cover tuition and fees for Indiana medical students who are committed to serving in shortage areas of Indiana upon completion of their education.
The scholarship will be awarded to applicants who intend to provide primary health services, defined as:
- Family practice
- General internal medicine
- General pediatrics
- Combined internal medicine and pediatrics (med-peds)
Applicants must be Indiana residents accepted into the Indiana University School of Medicine and be committed to practicing primary care services in medically underserved (MUA) or health professions shortage (HPSA) areas.
The scholarship will provide tuition and applicable fees for each of the 4 years of medical school in return for 4 years of service in a designated shortage area.
