Funding to support graduate-level education for students in medical, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, and other eligible advanced practice nursing programs with a focus on treating opioid use disorders and prescribing medications for opioid use disorder in office-based settings upon graduation. Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Tribal Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-serving Institutions, and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-serving Institutions are encouraged to apply.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is seeking partnerships with public health agencies and tribal and nongovernmental organizations to serve as host sites for the Public Health Associate Program (PHAP).
