New York J-1 Visa Waiver Program
Offers a J-1 visa waiver to foreign physicians who commit to serving for 3 years in an underserved area of New York, allowing them to remain in the United States.

AmeriCorps State and National Grants
Funding for programs that are designed to strengthen communities and solve local problems, including those found in rural and tribal areas. Funding priorities include concentrated poverty, faith-based organizations, services for veterans, access to youth mental health and substance use services, public safety, outdoor recreation, and support for families.

Grants to prevent, inventory, assess, clean up, and reuse brownfield sites, resulting in better community environmental health. The program has a focus on areas historically affected by economic disinvestment, health disparities, and environmental contamination.

Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund Grants
Grants to eligible agencies to capitalize a revolving loan fund that will provide loans and subgrants to eligible entities to carry out cleanup activities at brownfield sites contaminated with hazardous substances and/or petroleum. The program has a focus on areas historically affected by economic disinvestment, health disparities, and environmental contamination.

New Mexico AHEC Scholars Program
A multidisciplinary certificate program for health professions students in New Mexico that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural and underserved communities, and networking with other students and professionals.

Wisconsin Community Health Internship Program (CHIP)
An 8-week summer internship for college students with a connection to Wisconsin. The internship provides hands-on opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to work with local health departments, tribal health centers, community health centers, and community service organizations.

West Virginia Health Sciences Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment assistance for specific health professions students who agree to practice in an underserved area of West Virginia upon graduation.
