INMED Reimagine Indians into Medicine (RISE) Summer Academy
A 2-week program for enrolled members of federally recognized tribes who aspire to be physicians.

Wy'east Medicine Pathway Program
A 10-month educational program in Portland, Oregon for American Indian and Alaska Native post-baccalaureate students who were not accepted to medical school or did not get a qualifying MCAT score. Upon successful completion of the program, participants can gain guaranteed or conditional acceptance into Oregon Health and Science University.

MD Anderson Cancer Center Tobacco Treatment Training Program
Training for individuals interested in becoming credentialed as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist as part of the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Program. Includes a scholarship opportunity for professionals in rural health centers in Texas or Veterans Affairs nationally.

Illinois Community Behavioral Health Care Professional Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment assistance for qualified mental health and substance use professionals who agree to practice in rural areas in Illinois.

Veterans Affairs Specialty Education Loan Repayment Program (SELRP)
Loan repayment assistance for recent graduates of an accredited medical or osteopathic school who are currently enrolled or matched to a residency specialty identified as a shortage by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. A minimum service obligation of 24 months is required.

David W. and Sandra L.R. Boyes Physician Education Scholarship
Scholarship for health professionals and specialists working on continuing education in the field of gerontology. Special consideration is given to applicants who currently practice or plan to practice in rural Virginia or southern Appalachian areas.

Maine Health Professions Loan Program
A need-based, competitive loan for Maine students pursuing postgraduate medical, dental, and veterinary education.

American Indian Medical Scholarship (AIMS)
Scholarships for students of American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian descent that are pursuing careers in nursing, healthcare, and health education. The scholarship is designed to assist students who plan to work on reservations or in hospitals that serve Native populations with the goal of improving healthcare within those communities.

Iowa Farm Bureau Rural Medicine Scholarship for M4 Students and R3 Residents
Offers scholarships to 4th year medical students and 3rd year residents in Iowa who show a strong desire to practice in rural areas of Iowa upon completion of their training.
