Pediatric Specialty Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment for eligible clinicians who provide pediatric medical subspecialty, pediatric surgical specialty, or child and adolescent behavioral healthcare including substance use disorder prevention and treatment services. In exchange for loan repayment, participants agree to 3 years of full-time service at an approved site including American Indian health facilities, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, schools, and public health departments, among others.

Apply to be an approved Pediatric Specialty Loan Repayment Program site to receive assistance with recruitment and retention of qualified pediatric clinicians.

Medical Student Education Program
Grants for public medical schools to expand or support education for medical students preparing to become physicians in states with primary care provider shortages. The program is designed to prepare and encourage medical students who are training in the most underserved states to choose residencies and careers in primary care that serve tribal communities, rural communities, and/or medically underserved communities after they graduate.

Montana Rural Physician Incentive Program (MRPIP)
Loan repayment assistance for physicians who agree to practice in underserved areas of Montana.

Health Equity Leaders Program
Provides health professions students with opportunities to explore health equity service, scholarship, leadership, and policy. Applicants are future leaders who are underrepresented in healthcare, such as American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, among others.

Indian Health Service Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment for undergraduate and graduate health professional educational loans in return for full-time clinical service in Indian Health Service programs.

National Center for American Indian Health Professions Pathways to Admissions Workshop
Workshops to help American Indian and Alaska Native students navigate the medical or other professional school application process, strengthen their applications, and expand their professional networks. The overall goal of the program is to promote health by increasing the number of AI/AN healthcare employees.

Virginia Conrad 30 J-1 Visa Waiver Program
Offers a J-1 Visa waiver to foreign physicians who commit to serving for 3 years in an underserved area of Virginia, allowing them to remain in the United States.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety in Pediatric Primary Care Program Scholarships
Scholarships for primary care providers working in under-resourced communities to participate in the CBT for Anxiety in Pediatric Primary Care training program.

Rural Physician Associate Program
A 9-month, community-based educational experience for third-year medical students at the University of Minnesota that allows them to live and train in rural communities across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
