Leading Equity and Diversity in the Medical Scientist Training Program (LEAD MSTP)
Funding for eligible institutions to develop and implement effective, evidence-informed approaches to fully integrate the transitional phases of dual-degree training and mentoring that will lead to the completion of both clinical degrees and research doctorate degrees. Eligibility is limited to dual-degree training programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and institutions within Institutional Development Award (IDeA)-eligible states.

New York Community Mental Health Loan Repayment Program

Funding to expand and enhance graduate medical education training sites in rural Wisconsin, with the goal of improving access to quality healthcare in rural communities.

Physicians of Tomorrow Scholarship Program
Scholarships for medical students approaching their final year of medical school. Scholarship awards are made under national and regional categories, including scholarships for students underrepresented in medicine (such as Native Americans/Native Hawaiians/Alaska Natives) and students committed to addressing health equity for underserved populations and economically disadvantaged areas.

Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS)
Awards funding to health professions schools to increase diversity in the health professions workforce by providing scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Priority is given to institutions that seek to place graduates in medically underserved communities.
