Module 2: Evidence-Based and Promising MOUD Program Models
Rural organizations are implementing different types of programs in their communities for providing medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD). This toolkit organizes models for rural MOUD programs into four categories: patient initiation, systems of care, psychosocial services, and improving access. No single model is appropriate for every program, and rural organizations may combine different models to meet the needs of their communities.
To learn how to identify and adapt interventions, see Developing a Rural Community Health Program in the Rural Community Health Toolkit.
