American Academy of Pediatrics Rural-Health Community of Practice
An educational community of practice designed to empower pediatric clinicians in rural areas to enhance the quality of care provided for infants and children with birth defects and infant disorders (BDID). As much as possible, the project will focus on congenital syphilis (CS) and congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV).

North Carolina Medical Society Academy for Advanced Healthcare Leaders
An 8 month, project-based leadership development program tailored for practicing physicians, PAs, medical residents, and healthcare administrators in North Carolina. The program focuses on enhancing leadership abilities by fostering meaningful connections, improving team dynamics, and driving change through individual initiatives. The upcoming session will focus on rural health, population health, and community health centers.

Hawaii Healthcare Education Loan Repayment Program (HELP)
Loan repayment assistance for certain healthcare professionals in Hawaii in return for at least 2 years of service in rural and other medically underserved areas of the state.

University of Nebraska Kearney Health Opportunities Program (KHOP)
Scholarships and professional development opportunities for high school seniors from rural Nebraska who wish to practice in rural Nebraska following the completion of specific health professions educational programs.

California Advanced Practice Healthcare Scholarship Program
Scholarships for California residents who are enrolled in advanced practice healthcare programs and are willing to work in a medically underserved area of California after graduation.

Rural Experiences for Health Professions Students in South Dakota Program
A program that places clinical psychology, master of social work, physician, physician assistant, medical laboratory science, nurse practitioner, pharmacy, nursing, physical and occupational therapy students from South Dakota in a 3 or 4-week experience with preceptors established in rural areas of South Dakota.

Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (EMPA) Fellowship
An 18-month fellowship for physician assistants with Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Fellows will learn from board-certified emergency physicians and physician assistants at a Level II Trauma Center, rural emergency departments, and with ground and air emergency crews.

Oregon Primary Care Loan Forgiveness Program
Forgivable loans for medical, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, dental, and pharmacy students in exchange for a service obligation at an approved rural practice site in Oregon.

Minnesota Rural Advanced Practice Provider Loan Forgiveness Program
Loan repayment assistance for advanced practice provider students and/or graduates who agree to practice in a designated rural area of Minnesota.

Virginia AHEC Scholars Program
A multidisciplinary certificate program for health professions students in Virginia that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural and underserved communities, and networking with other students and professionals.
