Utah AHEC Scholars Program
A multidisciplinary certificate program for certain health professions students in Utah that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural and urban underserved communities, and networking with other students and professionals.

Behavioral Health Workforce Development Technical Assistance and Evaluation Program
A cooperative agreement with a single entity to provide tailored technical assistance for current and future grant recipients under specific HRSA funded programs. Applicants must have experience in developing or assisting behavioral health workforce development programs in high need and high demand areas, and with rural and/or medically underserved communities.

Arkansas Honors Program for Rural and Urban Underserved Primary Care Medicine
A 4-year program for first year medical students at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designed to prepare students to provide comprehensive medical care for underserved populations in both urban and rural settings in the state.

Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program for Paraprofessionals
Grants to develop and expand experiential training opportunities, such as field placements and internships, to increase the supply of students preparing to become peer support specialists and other behavioral health-related paraprofessionals. The program emphasizes relationships with community-based partners to increase access to quality behavioral health services across the lifespan in high need and high demand areas. Special focus is placed on demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the specific concerns for children, adolescents, and transitional-aged youth who are at risk for behavioral health disorders.

Postdoctoral Training in General, Pediatric, and Public Health Dentistry
Grants to plan, develop, operate, or participate in, postdoctoral training programs in community-based organizations in the fields of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and dental public health. Programs should prepare postdoctoral trained dentists to improve access to and delivery of oral healthcare delivery to underserved, health disparity, and rural populations.

Hermes Monato, Jr. Rural Health Essay Prize
An annual award for a rural health essay written by a student or recent graduate of any campus of the University of Wisconsin.

Arkansas AHEC Scholars Program

California AHEC Scholars Program

East Indiana AHEC Mini-Grants
Grants to support health careers exploration, clinical learning, and continuing education opportunities for high school students, health professions students, and practicing health professionals in rural and medically underserved communities in eastern and southeastern Indiana.

Georgia AHEC Scholars Program
A multidisciplinary certificate program for certain health professions students in Georgia that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural and underserved communities, and networking with other students and professionals.
