Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program for Professionals
Grants to develop and expand experiential training opportunities, such as field placements and internships, to improve the distribution and supply of the behavioral health workforce. The program emphasizes relationships with community-based partners to increase access to quality behavioral health services in high need and high demand areas, such as rural communities.

Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) Planning and Implementation Grants
Funding to support pediatricians and fellowship trainees in the initial planning and/or pilot stage of implementing community-based projects for child health improvements, increased access to care, and innovative strategies to address child health disparities

Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) Resident Grants Program
Grants to support pediatric residents in the planning of community-based child health initiatives that increase children's access to optimal health and well-being and address unmet child health needs.

Graduate Psychology Education Program
Grants to train doctoral health service psychology students, interns, and postdoctoral residents in integrated, interdisciplinary behavioral health. This includes opioid use and substance use in high-need underserved and rural populations.

Iowa Primary Care Provider Loan Repayment Program
Educational loan repayment assistance for primary care health professionals in return for a 2 year service commitment in a Health Professional Shortage Area in Iowa.
