Purpose

The 3RNET Recruiting for Retention Academy includes:

  • Access to live webinars featuring national experts on rural/underserved recruiting and retention
  • Password protected portal to gain access to the webinar recordings, session materials, and additional resources
  • Ability to ask questions of other Academy attendees and 3RNET members via the Academy listserv
  • A certificate of completion for those who attend and complete

Sessions will take place at 1:30 p.m. Central and are expected to last 75-90 minutes on the following dates:

  1. October 8, 2024 - Recruitment Processes to Set the Stage for Retention
  2. October 22, 2024 - Effective Employee Onboarding to Optimize Engagement and Retention
  3. November 5, 2024 - Retention Strategies and Tools to Strengthen your Workforce
  4. November 19, 2024 - Communication and Team-Building Skills for Today's Multi-Generational Workforce
  5. December 3, 2024 - Building a Supportive Organizational Culture that Reduces Burnout and Fosters Resiliency
  6. December 17, 2024 - Mission and DEIB Initiatives to Support Engagement and Retention
Eligibility

The Academy is designed for safety net facility employees (Federally Qualified Health Centers, Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, and others) such as:

  • Recruiters
  • Human Resources
  • Medical Directors
  • Chief Financial Officers
  • Chief Executive Officers

The program is open to anyone with an interest in rural recruitment and retention.

The registration cost is $500.

Application process

Complete the online registration form.

There is no registration deadline. The webinar series begins on October 8, 2024; however, participants can register at any time as the sessions are recorded and available to view on the Academy website.
