Texas Rural Hospital Financial Stabilization Grant
Grants for operational costs for rural hospitals in Texas to support the hospitals as they transition to improved long-term financial solvency and sustainability.

Pediatric Specialty Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment for eligible clinicians who provide pediatric medical subspecialty, pediatric surgical specialty, or child and adolescent behavioral healthcare including substance use disorder prevention and treatment services. In exchange for loan repayment, participants agree to 3 years of full-time service at an approved site including American Indian health facilities, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, schools, and public health departments, among others.

340B Drug Pricing Program

Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) Program for Indian Tribes and Alaska Native Villages
Grants for the development of Indian and Alaska Native communities, including housing, public service facilities, healthcare entities, and economic development projects.

Community Economic Development Projects
Grants to Community Development Corporations (CDCs) for projects designed to address the economic needs of low-income individuals and families through the creation of employment and business opportunities, including expansion or construction of clinics and health centers. Priority points will be given to projects that create jobs in rural communities and counties of persistent poverty.

Appalachian Region Healthcare Support Program
Funding for a single entity to provide technical assistance to help rural healthcare organizations located in the rural counties served by the Appalachian Regional Commission with planning and implementing healthcare service improvements.

Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention (NEPQR) - Workforce Expansion Program (WEP)
Funding to increase the nursing workforce in rural and underserved areas to address the critical shortage of nurses, specifically in acute and long-term care settings. The program aims to enhance nursing education and clinical practice to expand the workforce and improve retention.
