Purpose

The Associate Degree Nursing Scholarship will provide scholarships for California students pursuing an Associate degree in nursing in exchange for working in a medically underserved area of California upon graduation.

Recipients must agree to provide direct patient care on a full time basis in a designated shortage area in California for a minimum of 1 year.

Eligibility

California residents who are currently enrolled in an Associate Degree nursing program in California and are free from any other service obligation may apply.
