The Feasibility of Using Electronic Health Records to Describe Demographic and Clinical Indicators of Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers
Using 2012 data derived from a Colorado Migrant Health Center electronic health record (EHR) database, this study describes the demographics, social history, medical indicators, and diagnoses of patients who are migrant and seasonal farmworkers (MSFW) with the purpose of developing an electronic baseline clinical database that may improve clinical care, and support illness surveillance and epidemiologic studies of MSFW populations.
