Models to Improve Access to Care for Mental Health

Mental health access, or accessibility, refers to the ability to obtain services for mental health conditions. Facilitating access can involve different approaches for providing mental health services. Barriers that affect access to mental health services include, for example, limited availability of mental health providers and challenges related to transportation.
