Nov 18, 2024 - The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) will hold a virtual public meeting of the Interdepartmental Substance Use Disorders Coordinating Committee (ISUDCC) on December 11, 2024, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Eastern. The ISUDCC agenda will focus on the ISUDCC's recommendations to HHS on how the Federal Government can further integrate and coordinate harm reduction approaches and strategies across the continuum of prevention, treatment, and recovery policies, programs, and practices. Agenda items will also include presentations on the recent Harm Reduction Summit, the recovery and harm reduction workgroup, and an update on the Naloxone Saturation Policy Academy. Information on how to join the meeting will be posted on the SAMHSA website.

Nov 15, 2024 - The Census Bureau will hold a virtual public meeting of the 2030 Census Advisory Committee on December 5, 2024, from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Eastern. The committee will review and provide feedback related to 2030 Census plans and execution to assist the Census Bureau in devising strategies to increase census awareness and participation, reduce barriers to response, and enhance the public's trust and willingness to respond. Meeting information, including the agenda and how to join the meeting, will be posted on the Census Advisory Committee website.

Nov 15, 2024 - Notice from the Rural Housing Service (RHS) correcting the effective date in the October 25, 2024, final rule, which amended the current regulation for the Off-Farm Labor Housing (Off-FLH) program to clarify the grant agreement term and adopt the period of performance as required by Federal award information requirements. These rates are effective on January 1, 2025.

Nov 14, 2024 - Notice from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announcing the monthly actuarial rates for beneficiaries enrolled in Part B of the Medicare Supplementary Medical Insurance (SMI) program beginning January 1, 2025. It also announces the monthly premium, the deductible for 2025, and income-related monthly adjustment amounts for beneficiaries with modified adjusted gross income above certain threshold amounts. These rates are effective on January 1, 2025.

Nov 14, 2024 - Notice from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announcing Medicare's Hospital Insurance (Part A) premium for uninsured enrollees in calendar year (CY) 2025. The premium is paid by enrollees aged 65 and over who are not otherwise eligible for Part A benefits and by certain disabled individuals who have exhausted other entitlement. This premium is effective on January 1, 2025.
