Funding to improve and increase access to care in the Delta Region for pregnant women and new mothers during and after pregnancy.

Kent Richard Hofmann Foundation Grants
Grants to support community-based organizations providing direct services, education, or research in the areas of HIV and AIDS, with priority given to smaller communities and rural areas.

Technology-enabled Collaborative Learning Program
Funding to evaluate, develop, and, expand the use of technology-enabled collaborative learning and capacity building models for healthcare providers and other professionals. The program is designed to to improve retention of healthcare providers and increase access to health care services in rural areas, frontier areas, health professional shortage areas, or medically underserved areas and for medically underserved populations or native Americans.

Agricultural Health and Safety Small Grant Program
Grants for graduate student and faculty researchers with the goal of encouraging the development of creative research and intervention projects while nurturing researchers, especially early career researchers, who are interested in agricultural health and safety research.

Innovations for Healthy Living - Improving Minority Health and Eliminating Health Disparities (R43/R44)
Funding for small business concerns to develop a product, process, or service with the aim of improving minority health and/or reducing and ultimately eliminating health disparities in one or more NIH-defined population groups.

Service Area Competition - Additional Area Funding for Health Center Program (Areas Served with a Project Period Start Date of January 1, 2025)
Funding to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to an underserved area or population. Areas with an January 1, 2025 project period start date are eligible to apply.

Opioid Crisis Innovation Challenge
Funding for projects that bring an innovative approach to long-standing and complex issues related to the nation's opioid crisis. According to the funder, projects should "explore and/or evaluate new outside-the-box ideas, bring together approaches from several diverse fields, and engage multi-disciplinary, cross-sector teams to reduce overdoses, increase access to treatment, and support long-term recovery." Applications that address rural and underserved populations are encouraged.

Rural Emergency Medical Communications Demonstration Project
Funding for a single entity to examine communications barriers and identify solutions that enhance existing emergency communications infrastructure to improve the delivery of rural medical care and address implementation gaps in the National Emergency Communications Plan.

States Advancing All-Payer Health Equity Approaches and Development (AHEAD) Model
A state total cost of care (TCOC) model that works to drive state and regional healthcare transformation and multi-payer alignment, with the goal of improving the total health of a state population and lowering costs. The AHEAD Model will provide participating states with funding and other tools to address rising healthcare costs and support health equity.

Advancing HIV Service Delivery Through Pharmacies and Pharmacists (R01 and R21 Clinical Trial Optional)
Research funding designed to scale the delivery of HIV testing, prevention, and care services through pharmacists and pharmacies. This includes the advancement of training curricula to enable pharmacy students, pharmacists, pharmacies, and pharmacy systems to deliver the spectrum of needed HIV services. Rural populations are a priority.
