Grants to tribes and national, regional, or local Native American organizations that serve individuals in the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla tribes of Oregon and Washington. Funds may be used for small needs that surface throughout the year to support programs in the areas of public health, public safety, environmental protection, and gambling addiction, among others.

Wisconsin Primary Care and Psychiatry Shortage Grant
Provides financial assistance awards to primary care physicians and psychiatrists who agree to practice in eligible areas of Wisconsin.

Local Economy Lab: Funding to Support Coal Communities in Transition Inactive

Grants to increase safety measures in healthcare settings in Minnesota with a focus on preventing workplace violence. Funding may be used to establish or expand programs to train staff in healthcare settings on de-escalation and positive support services.

Pennsylvania READY Communities Collaborative Funding Inactive
Funding to support Pennsylvania communities in becoming accessible, inclusive places for older adults, people with dementia, and neighbors of all ages.

Staff Sergeant Fox Suicide Prevention Grants Inactive
Community-based grants for eligible entities to provide or coordinate the provision of primarily non-clinical suicide prevention services to eligible veterans and their families.

Suicide Prevention ESSENCE Rapid Response Plans Inactive
Funding for the utilization of surveillance data for suicide prevention in Tennessee using the Electronic Surveillance System for the Early Notification of Community-Based Epidemics (ESSENCE) database and alert system. Grants will support rural health councils to develop and implement county-level response plans for when an ESSENCE alert is received.

Texas Cancer Screening and Early Detection Inactive
Funding for the delivery of evidence-based clinical services to screen for cancer and precancer in underserved populations who do not have adequate access to screening, early detection interventions, and healthcare. Rural and/or medically underserved populations are a program priority.

Texas Primary Prevention of Cancer Inactive
Funding to implement evidence-based strategies to ensure that all Texans benefit from cancer prevention knowledge. Projects will include interventions to reduce cancer risk, disease burden, and cancer disparities and address social determinants that contribute to cancer burden and disparities. Applications must include the delivery of interventions to non-metropolitan (rural) and/or medically underserved counties in the state.

Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) Grants Inactive
Grants to support the efforts of current and former Drug Free Communities grant recipients to prevent substance use among youth by addressing local drug crises and emerging drug use issues. The focus is on prevention of opioid, methamphetamine, and prescription drug use among youth, including activities targeting rural and tribal communities.
