Grants to support projects benefiting the health and wellness of women and girls in Delaware, empowering them to achieve their full potential. Grants have been awarded in rural areas of the state.

Grants for current state Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program award recipients to work with providers and other partners to improve access to needed healthcare services and to improve the coordination of care for veterans living in rural areas.

Understanding the Intersection of Social Inequities to Optimize Health and Reduce Health Disparities: The Axes Initiative (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)
Funding for research to examine the pathways through which social determinants of health (SDOH), and related biological, psychological, and behavioral factors impact health and health disparities. The primary populations of focus are those that experience health disparities in the U.S., including racial and ethnic minority populations, people with lower socioeconomic status, underserved rural populations, sexual and gender minority populations, and people with disabilities.

Maternal and Child Health Secondary Data Analysis Research (MCH SDAR)
Funding to support applied research through analysis of existing databases and/or administrative records to improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of healthcare services and health outcomes for underserved maternal and child health populations. Underserved populations include Indigenous and Native American persons, people in rural areas, persons otherwise adversely affected by persistent poverty or inequality, among others.

America's Healthy Food Financing Initiative Food Access and Retail Expansion (FARE) Fund Grants
Grant funding for projects related to food retail supply chain resiliency, access to healthy foods in underserved areas, employment, and low-income community revitalization.

VA VetResources Community Network (VRCN) Catalyst Award
Award that recognizes nonprofit veteran community-serving organizations for innovative solutions to reach and support underserved Veterans, their families, caregivers, and/or survivors. The top 10 nonprofit organizations/teams will each receive a monetary award to plan and implement community-based outreach event(s) or activation(s) to reach over 5,000 underserved veterans across 4 priority categories.

Healthy Tomorrows Partnership for Children Program
Grants to support community-based projects that promote access to preventive clinical and public health services for children in rural and underserved communities.
