Grants to organizations that help families with children and pregnant individuals enroll in health coverage opportunities, including Medicaid, CHIP, and insurance affordability programs.

Build Healthy Places Network Community Innovations for Racial Equity Inactive
Funding, technical assistance, and a peer learning cohort designed to build local Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)-led community development capacity, support community power, explore innovative community ownership models, and address the barriers and gaps within community development and health partnerships to effectively propel racial equity. Priority will be given to rural, tribal, and small- to mid-size communities that have been marginalized and have had less access to resources.

Tribal Practices for Wellness In Indian Country Inactive
Grants to support tribal practices that build resiliency and connections to community, family, and culture, which over time, can reduce risk factors for chronic disease among American Indians and Alaska Natives.

Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention-Mobile Health Training Program (NEPQR-MHTP) Inactive
Funding to expand experiential training opportunities for nurses through nurse-led mobile health training sites, with the goal of strengthening nursing workforce to provide quality culturally aligned care in rural and underserved areas.

Dental Clinician Educator Career Development Program Inactive
Grants to strengthen the primary care workforce by supporting the academic career development of faculty who teach primary care dentistry or focus their teaching on the integration of oral health in family medicine, general internal medicine, or general pediatrics. Training for rural practices and addressing social determinants of health are two of the program's focus areas.

Harm Reduction Program Grant Inactive
Grants to support community-based, trauma-informed overdose prevention programs, syringe services programs, and other harm reduction services. Priority populations include rural communities, LGBTQ+, and/or racial and ethnic minorities.

Predoctoral Training in General, Pediatric, and Public Health Dentistry and Dental Hygiene Inactive
Awards funding to plan, develop, and operate predoctoral training programs in dentistry and dental hygiene for dental and dental hygiene students that address enhancing pediatric training to support improved access to oral health care for vulnerable, underserved, or rural communities.
