A 2-year, full-time, post-college community service fellowship in rural and other underserved community primary care sites in North Carolina.

Destination Dental School Fellowship
A gateway educational experience for undergraduate students and bachelor degree recipients who are interested in a career in dentistry. This program is designed to prepare individuals who have been underrepresented in the profession, including those from rural areas, to successfully apply to dental school.

South Carolina Rural Dentist Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment assistance for dentists who agree to practice in an approved shortage area of South Carolina or serve as full-time faculty at the MUSC College of Dental Medicine.

HERO: Helping EMS in Rural Oregon
Grants to rural and remote EMS agencies in Oregon to cover in-house training costs or to send staff to training that cannot be offered locally.

Kansas Healthworks Health Care Scholarship
Healthcare scholarships for individuals currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited Kansas school in a healthcare field. Preference will be given to current hospital employees, particularly those working in a hospital that is licensed for 25 or fewer acute beds.

Medicine Pathways for Advancing Tribal Healthcare (M-PATH)
A year-long educational program designed to engage and support college students interested in pursuing a career as a physician caring for Indigenous and rural communities. The program includes quarterly virtual group meetings, individual meetings with faculty sponsors and mentors, and a 3-week on-site summer program in Boston at the Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Medicine Pathways for Advancing Tribal Healthcare (PATH)
Offers mentorship and professional development opportunities for Native college or university students on path to become physicians.

West Virginia Health Sciences Service Program
Loan repayment assistance for specific health professions students who agree to practice in an underserved area of West Virginia upon graduation.

Patient-Centered Mental Health in Pediatric Primary Care (PPP) Program Course and Scholarships
An educational program for primary care providers serving low-income and underserved communities. The program trains clinicians to diagnose and treat mental health conditions they see every day in practice. Providers working in rural and tribal communities are encouraged to apply.

YouthBuild Grants
Grants to organizations providing pre-apprenticeship services that support education, occupational skills training, and employment services for youth, ages 16 to 24, while performing meaningful work and service to their communities. The YouthBuild program model contains wrap-around services such as transportation, childcare, and housing. Applications from rural, urban, and Native American communities have been funded in the past.
