West Virginia Health Sciences Service Program
Loan repayment assistance for certain health professions students who agree to practice in an underserved area of West Virginia upon graduation.

Leading Equity and Diversity in the Medical Scientist Training Program (LEAD MSTP)
Funding for eligible institutions to develop and implement effective, evidence-informed approaches to fully integrate the transitional phases of dual-degree training and mentoring that will lead to the completion of both clinical degrees and research doctorate degrees. Eligibility is limited to dual-degree training programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and institutions within Institutional Development Award (IDeA)-eligible states.

Tennessee State Loan Repayment Program
Loan repayment assistance for primary care practitioners who agree to serve in a Health Professional Shortage Area of Tennessee.

Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS)
Awards funding to health professions schools to increase diversity in the health professions workforce by providing scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Priority is given to institutions that seek to place graduates in medically underserved communities.

South Dakota Recruitment Assistance Program
Provides qualifying physicians, dentists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists, and nurse midwives an incentive payment in return for 3 continuous years of practice in an eligible rural community in South Dakota.
