An educational and grant program designed to assist Indiana congregations in addressing mental health and wellness among their members. Rural congregations and congregations of color are encouraged to apply.

AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program Replacement and Expansion Opportunity Inactive
Program that engages adults age 55 and over to provide mentorship for children and youth with special or exceptional needs, or who would benefit from the one-one-one attention. AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers serve in schools, Head Starts, drug treatment centers, correctional institutions, and childcare centers. Priority states and territories are listed in Appendix A of the application instructions.

AmeriCorps Seniors Senior Companion Program Replacement and Expansion Opportunity Inactive
Program that engages adults age 55 and over to provide companionship and support to other adults in need of extra assistance to remain at home or in the community for as long as possible. Volunteers provide companionship to ease loneliness and social isolation, assisting with transportation and light chores, helping to serve as eyes and ears to professionals who can intervene in the case of medical or other deterioration on the part of the clients, and giving support to informal caregivers. New York Age-Friendly: Go Local Grants Inactive
Funding for grassroots and community-based organizations in Western and Central New York who are working to build age-friendly neighborhoods that promote health equity.

Minnesota Capacity Strengthening Initiative Inactive
Funding to support community-based and faith-based organizations in strengthening their organizational infrastructure to be better equipped and prepared for success in procuring grants and contracts at the department and addressing health inequities across Minnesota. Organizations should serve people of color, American Indians, LGBTQIA+, and/or people living with disabilities. Applications from rural organizations are encouraged.

Opioid Settlement Fund Community Grant Program Inactive
Grants for organizations working to abate and alleviate the impacts of the opioid crisis and co-occurring substance use challenges in South Dakota communities. Rural behavioral health workforce, MAT training, and telehealth in rural communities are among the approved uses of funds.

Community Relations and Innovation Fund Inactive
Grants to organizations and individuals in Native communities serving their communities in areas such as youth work, community building, arts and culture, language and education/advocacy.

Equity Community Organizing (ECO) Groups to Advance Health Equity in Aging in California Inactive
Funding to organize community groups designed to reduce health inequities for older adults in California. The focus is on communities of color and communities where race and ethnicity intersect with other factors such as age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, geography, language, and/or immigration status leading to inequities.

Virginia Youth Tobacco Use Prevention Grants Inactive
Grants to prevent and reduce youth tobacco, nicotine, and vaping product use across Virginia. Funding may be used for classroom-based instruction and for projects designed to reduce disparities in young people who are at elevated risk for being impacted by tobacco and nicotine (including rural youth).

NCOA Grants for New Benefits Enrollment Centers Inactive
Grants to community-based nonprofits to serve as Benefits Enrollment Centers that work to find and enroll eligible adults in 5 core federal benefit programs. Focuses on serving certain target population groups, including people living in rural areas.
