Healthy Start Initiative - Enhanced Inactive
Grants to improve health outcomes before, during, and after pregnancy and reduce the racial/ethnic differences in rates of infant death and adverse perinatal outcomes. The program priority is diverse communities and populations, such as non-Hispanic Black, American Indian/Alaska Native, and rural areas that are experiencing the greatest disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes.

Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program Inactive
Funding to promote behavioral health integration in pediatric primary care by supporting the development of new, or the improvement of existing, statewide or regional pediatric mental healthcare telehealth access programs.

Maternal and Child Health Secondary Data Analysis Research (MCH SDAR) Inactive
Funding to support applied research through analysis of existing databases and/or administrative records to improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of healthcare services and health outcomes for underserved maternal and child health populations. Underserved populations include indigenous and Native American persons, people in rural areas, persons otherwise adversely affected by persistent poverty or inequality, among others.

Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Nutrition Training Program Inactive
Funding to promote the healthy nutrition of mothers, children, and families by establishing and enhancing MCH Nutrition Training Programs to provide training for future and current MCH nutrition professionals and nutrition-focused technical assistance to state Title V and other MCH programs. There is also the opportunity to apply for additional funding for the optional Nutrition Workforce Equity enhancement. Programs should implement a curricula that provides nutrition-focused clinical preparation in multiple settings emphasizing integration of MCH nutrition services and expanding the reach of MCH nutrition services in rural and underserved areas.

Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Training Program Inactive
Funding to train healthcare professionals to use valid and reliable screening and diagnostic tools, in addition to providing evidence-based interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental and behavioral concerns.

Healthy Tomorrows Partnership for Children Program Inactive
Grants to support community-based child health projects that improve the health of mothers, infants, children, adolescents, and families in rural and other underserved communities by increasing their access to health services.

Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) Inactive
Funding for public and nonprofit institutions of higher education to provide training to health professionals at the graduate and postgraduate levels in adolescent and young adult core health disciplines, including medicine, nursing, nutrition, psychology, and social work.

Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems: Health Integration Prenatal-to-Three Program Inactive
Funding to build integrated maternal and early childhood systems of care that promote early developmental health and family well-being and increase family-centered access to care and engagement of the prenatal-to-3 year old population. Proposed projects should identify and address barriers in access to high quality, effective early childhood and family services for underserved P–3 populations, including rural populations and specific racial/ethnic groups.
