Rural Communities Opioid Response Program - Planning (RCORP - Planning) Inactive
Planning grants designed to strengthen the capacity of multi-sector consortia to address prevention, treatment, and recovery from substance use disorder, including opioid use disorder in rural counties identified to be at the highest risk. The overall goal of the program is to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with opioid overdoses in high-risk rural communities.

Advanced Nursing Education Nurse Practitioner Residency Integration Program Inactive
Grants to prepare new nurse practitioners for primary care or behavioral health practice in integrated, community-based settings, through expansions and/or enhancements to existing 12-month Nurse Practitioner Residency (NPR) programs. Priority is given to projects that benefit rural and underserved populations.

Nursing Workforce Diversity-Eldercare Enhancement Program Inactive
Grants to expand opportunities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds with the purpose of strengthening the eldercare workforce in rural communities that have disparities in healthcare access and delivery.

Telehealth Focused Rural Health Research Center Program Inactive
A cooperative agreement to operate a telehealth focused research center that will work to assist rural health providers and governmental decision makers by increasing the amount of policy-relevant telehealth related research.

Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program Inactive
Grants to expand the number of fellows at accredited Addiction Medicine Fellowship and Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship programs trained as addiction medicine specialists who work in underserved, community-based settings that integrate primary care with mental health disorders and substance use disorder prevention and treatment services.

Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention - Interprofessional Collaborative Practice Program: Behavioral Health Integration Inactive
Grants for projects designed to increase the access and quality of behavioral health services through behavioral health integrated team-based care models; and train the future nursing workforce to provide integrated behavioral health services in primary care settings through academic-practice partnerships.

Postdoctoral Training in General, Pediatric, and Public Health Dentistry Inactive
Grants to plan, develop, operate, or participate in, postdoctoral training programs in the fields of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and dental public health. Programs should prepare postdoctoral trained dentists to improve access to and delivery of oral healthcare delivery to low income, underserved, uninsured, underrepresented minority, health disparity, and rural populations.

Primary Care Training and Enhancement: Residency Training in Primary Care (PCTE-RTPC) Program Inactive
To increase the distribution of primary care physicians in rural and underserved areas, this grant is designed to enhance accredited residency training programs in family medicine, general internal medicine, general pediatrics, or combined internal medicine and pediatrics (med-peds) in rural and/or underserved areas. Funds can also support the development of rural and/or underserved residency tracks within existing accredited residency programs.

Opioid Workforce Expansion Program - Paraprofessionals Inactive
Grants to train behavioral health-related paraprofessionals, such as peer support specialists, to address the behavioral health needs, including opioid use and substance use, in high-need underserved and rural populations. A special emphasis is on demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the specific concerns of children, adolescents, and transitional-age youth in high need and high demand areas who are at risk for behavioral health disorders.

Networks for Oral Health Integration within the Maternal and Child Health Safety Net Inactive
Grants to improve access to and delivery of comprehensive, quality oral healthcare for children, 0–17 years of age, by testing and establishing models of care utilizing specified collective strategies including integrated service delivery, training of healthcare providers, and prevention.
