An application should be submitted in a Community Economic Development competition within 12 months of the end of the project period. Applications from rural areas, persistent poverty counties, and Native American communities are encouraged.

Tribal Opioid Response Grants Inactive
Grants to address the opioid crisis in tribal communities by increasing access to medication-assisted treatment and supporting a full range of culturally appropriate prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery support services for opioid use disorder (OUD) and co-occurring substance use disorders. Funds may also be used to address stimulant misuse and use disorders, including cocaine and methamphetamine.

A Cultural Approach to Good Health and Wellness in Indian Country Inactive
Grants for projects designed to reduce rates of death and disability from chronic diseases and the prevalence of commercial tobacco use, prediabetes, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, oral disease, and other chronic disease risk factors and conditions in American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities.
