Training Program for Institutions That Promote Diversity (T32 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
Funding to support training of predoctoral, health professional students, and individuals in postdoctoral training at institutions with a documented historical institutional mission focused on educating underrepresented students and/or institutions that provide clinical services to populations that experience health disparities, with the potential to develop meritorious training programs in cardiovascular, pulmonary, and hematologic diseases, and sleep disorders.

Scholarships for health professions students in Alabama. The scholarships serve to improve access to quality, affordable healthcare for all people in Alabama, particularly in rural and underserved areas that experience health disparities.

Technical Assistance - University of Rochester Medicine Recovery Center of Excellence
Technical assistance for rural communities to help with initiatives that address substance use disorder.

Service Area Competition - Additional Area Funding for Health Center Program (Areas Served with a Project Period Start Date of January 1, 2025)
Funding to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to an underserved area or population. Areas with an January 1, 2025 project period start date are eligible to apply.

Project Talk Initiative Host Site Applications
Partnerships with community-based organization host sites to evaluate the impact of several approaches to promote advance care planning in underserved populations including those from ethnic and racial minority backgrounds, rural communities and low-income areas. Host sites will be provided tools and trained in facilitating community conversations.

Resident Opportunity and Self Sufficiency Service Coordinator Program
Grants to fund service coordinators to assist residents of public and Indian housing in making progress towards economic self-sufficiency, including the provision of job training, employment, adult education, housing, and health resources.

Indian Housing Block Grant Program
Grants to develop, maintain, and operate affordable housing in safe and healthy environments on American Indian reservations and in other American Indian areas, and to carry out other affordable housing activities that benefit low-income families.

Health Center Program New Access Point Grants
Grants to support the establishment of new health service delivery sites under the Health Center Program for underserved populations.

Meeting the Basic Needs of Underserved Crime Victims
Funding to increase the availability and accessibility of basic services and assistance to crime victims and survivors from communities that have been historically underserved, marginalized, adversely affected by inequality, and disproportionately impacted by crime, violence, and victimization. Tribal communities are a program priority.

Community Facilities Technical Assistance and Training Grant
Grants to intermediary organizations to provide technical assistance and training for rural organizations and agencies to identify and plan for community facility needs that exist in their area, and once those needs have been identified, locating public and private resources to finance those identified needs.
