Funding for schools and residential child care institutions to provide afterschool snacks to low-income children who participate in the National School Lunch program.

Wellness Coach Scholarship Program (WCSP)
Scholarships for students in associate or bachelor's degree programs that qualify them for Wellness Coach Certification in exchange for a 12 month service obligation providing services in California. Rural and tribal service settings are included.

Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Stimulating Research to Understand and Address Hunger, Food, and Nutrition Insecurity
Notice of Special Interest for research on interventions that address nutrition security and the mechanisms of food insecurity on a variety of health outcomes. Priority populations include racial/ethnic minority populations, lower income populations, and rural and remote populations including tribal communities and insular areas.

New England Healthy Communities Grant Program
Funding for communities in New England to reduce environmental risks, protect and improve human health, and improve quality of life. Program priorities include rural, tribal, and other areas with environmental justice concerns.

Massachusetts General Hospital Fellowship Program in Rural Health Leadership
A full-time fellowship for early-career clinicians who have an interest in partnering with rural communities to improve health. The fellowship includes a Master's Degree in Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and focused clinical time in Rosebud, South Dakota at an Indian Health Service site.

Northwest Public Health and Primary Care Leadership Institute
A leadership and educational opportunity in the northwest region that focuses on the intersection of public health and primary care, using a health equity focus. Participants will experience group and individual assignments, panels, lectures, webinars, and discussions, and use problem-based learning to explore real-life situations leaders face in the field.
