Minnesota Rural Pharmacist Loan Forgiveness Program

The Minnesota Rural Pharmacist Loan Forgiveness Program offers forgivable loans to pharmacy students, residents, and practicing professionals who agree to practice in a designated rural area of Minnesota.
A designated rural area is defined as a city or township that is outside the 7-county Minneapolis/ St. Paul metropolitan area, excluding the cities of Duluth, Mankato, Moorhead, Rochester, and St. Cloud.
Eligible applicants include students and residents in pharmacy programs and licensed pharmacists.
Students and residents in their final year of training will receive highest priority. Preference is also given to those who can demonstrate diverse cultural competencies.
Up to $26,000 per year with a maximum of $104,000.
