The Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation Annual Grant Program offers funding to nonprofit organizations that are engaged in efforts to improve oral health for underserved Wisconsin residents. The program objective is to increase access to oral healthcare and oral health education by encouraging volunteerism in the dental health professions community.
Examples of potential projects include:
- Dental supplies, equipment, and other operating expenses for a low-income dental clinic
- Dental health education conducted at schools, health fairs, and social agencies, via mobile dental clinics or outreach programs
- Dental health education programs in conjunction with preventive programs, such as fluoride and dental sealant application programs
- Other philanthropic endeavors relating to dentistry in Wisconsin
Community-based, nonprofit, oral health promotion programs in the state of Wisconsin are eligible to apply. Eligible organizations must have 501(c)(3) status with the IRS or be a government agency headquartered in Wisconsin.
Award range: $1,000 - $7,500
