The National Council for Mental Wellbeing is offering funding, mentorship, and support for rural and/or frontier serving community behavioral health organizations to help enhance and expand critical services that reduce the risk of overdose by increasing engagement in evidence-based and innovative risk reduction strategies, linkage to care, and peer support services.
Selected organizations will be paired with mentor organizations leading the field in rural and frontier services. Participants and mentor organizations will plan and implement selected strategies to enhance services.
Eligible applicants include community-based organizations in the U.S. that provide services within a rural area. Applicants may include harm reduction organizations, coalitions, and other organizations focused on linking people who use drugs to peer support, treatment, and recovery support services.
Award ceiling: $83,500
