The Mobile Health Impact Accelerator (MHIA) is a 6-month learning opportunity designed for staff of mobile health clinics. The Accelerator focuses on building connections between mobile clinics and public health systems, with an emphasis on expanding access to care, reducing health disparities, and building trust within communities.
Learning objectives:
- Enhanced Skills and Knowledge: Develop essential skills in needs assessment, program evaluation, and decision-making, helping to better understand the community's unique health needs. Learn to conduct surveys, analyze data, and turn insights into action plans that directly address your community's needs.
- Stronger Connection to Public Health Systems: Build stronger partnerships with local public health systems, bridging gaps in care and ensuring services align with broader public health efforts. MHIA will provide strategies to help build lasting partnerships, making it easier to coordinate care and resources.
- Improved Service Delivery: By applying proven public health strategies, clinics will boost the effectiveness, sustainability, and responsiveness of their programs, leading to better health outcomes for the communities they serve.
- Community Trust and Engagement: Clinics will learn how to build stronger relationships with the communities they serve, fostering trust and increasing their ability to reach marginalized populations.
