Purpose

FEMA's Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) provides funding for security enhancements and activities for nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack.

Nonprofit preparedness activities should align with broader state and local preparedness efforts, as well as promote coordination and collaboration in emergency preparedness activities among public and private community representatives.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist or other extremist attack.

Amount of funding

Award amounts are variable based on need and available funding.

Total available funding is $210,000,000.
