The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) is offering a technical assistance and funding opportunity designed to strengthen capacity in healthcare infection prevention and control (IPC) practices by piloting and adapting tools and best practices utilizing CDC Project Firstline resources.
Required activities:
- Complete an initial assessment to identify IPC related training needs
- Participate in monthly calls with NACCHO to monitor progress, facilitate peer-exchange, and provide technical assistance
- Identify, adapt and implement at least four existing Project Firstline tools and resources as part of specific outreach, education, or training activities for healthcare facilities in the jurisdiction or locality
- Participate in evaluation activities to track and measure progress towards expressed outcomes
- Attend an in-person convening
- Submit an end-of-project report
Eligible applicants are tribal health departments and local health departments.
Award ceiling: $200,000
Award floor: $150,000
Project period: 8 months
