Purpose

Maternal Care Operations Grant funding can be used to improve rural maternal care operations in facilities where emergency labor and delivery services can occur. Each qualifying hospital will receive one-time funding for the purchase of neonatal equipment, supplies and training for emergency labor and delivery health care services.

Eligibility

Eligible hospitals are rural hospitals as defined by the Texas Administrative Code, Title 1, Part 15, Chapter 355, Subchapter J, Division 4, Rule § 355.8052 that do not provide inpatient labor and delivery services.
