Purpose

The Wonderful Company offers grants for projects focused on the health and well-being of rural central valley communities in California.

Priorities include:

  • Arts
  • Economic advancement
  • Legal aid
  • Park access

Funds may be used for program development/expansion, innovation, small scale capital improvements, technology, and equipment.

  • Schools

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to serving the rural communities of the San Joaquin Valley, including:

  • Kern County: Delano, Wasco, Shafter, Lost Hills
  • Kings County: Avenal
  • Fresno County: Sanger, Del Rey, Firebaugh, Mendota

Award ceiling: $50,000
Award floor: $1,000
Project period: 1 year
Estimated total program funding: $1,000,000

There will be up to two $100,000 grants to be used over 2 years.
