Purpose

The Rapides Foundation provides grant funding to school districts in central Louisiana for activities that promote health and well-being and create healthy school environments. Priority areas include tobacco prevention and control, alcohol and substance misuse prevention, and healthy eating and active living. Applicants may apply for funding under 1 or more of the categories listed in the school participation table.

Public and non-public school districts in The Rapides Foundation's service area may apply.

Grant funds will be disbursed at the district level and are based on the number of participating schools and the category of activities each school selects from the school participation table.
