Purpose

The Georgia Nurse Faculty Loan Repayment Program (NFLRP) provides student loan debt assistance for University System of Georgia nursing faculty. Recipients must agree to commit to 2 years of service within the University System.

Eligibility

Applicants must have a masters or PhD degree in nursing. Applicants must also be currently employed and have been employed for 1 year as faculty in the University System of Georgia or the Technical College System of Georgia in a position that requires an advanced degree in professional nursing.

The lesser of 50% of the outstanding student loan balance or $25,000 over 2 years.
