The Community Relations and Innovation fund provides funding to organizations and individuals in Native communities committed to serving community needs, including but not limited to youth work, community building, arts/culture, language and education/advocacy.
Tribal entities, organizations, and artists providing services in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana are eligible to apply.
Eligible entities must serve at least 51% Native communities and have two-thirds of their staff and board comprised of Native individuals. Eligible entities include:
- Federally recognized tribal entities
- State recognized tribal entities
- Tribal entities seeking recognition
- Native 501c3 and 501c4 organizations
- Fiscally sponsored organizations
- Individual artist enrolled
- Individual artist descendant
