Purpose

The Future Clinicians Scholarship Program offers scholarships for underrepresented health professions students who are engaging in self-led community service and research, are developing critical professional skills, and are interested in working to address health disparities in medically underserved communities.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are health professions students from groups that are underrepresented in medicine. Health professions include:

  • Physicians (MD, DO)
  • Masters of Social Work (MSW)
  • Dentists (DDS)
  • Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Graduate level nursing
  • Physician assistant students

Scholarship amount: $5,000
Project period: May be renewed each year for up to 4 years
