Increasing COVID-19 Immunization for Tribal Nations and/or Urban Indian Communities in New York

The New York State Department of Health will provide funding to promote vaccine confidence in tribal nations and/or urban Indian communities in New York by supporting efforts to develop and distribute culturally appropriate education materials.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be a community-based, nonprofit organization that is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; an academic institution; tribal nation; urban Indian community; or Article 28 provider operating a Nation Health Clinic
- Eligible to do business with New York State
- Have at least 2 years of experience working with native communities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic
- Have at least 2 years of experience in the oversight of administrative, fiscal, and programmatic aspects of government, foundation, or other grant makers in health contracts, including timely and accurate submission of fiscal and program reports
- Prequalified in the New York State Grants Gateway by the application deadline
