The Put Us on the Map Challenge is an opportunity for cities with populations less than 50,000 people to get no cost access to over 30 metrics on health, its drivers, and health equity on the City Health Dashboard.
Benefits of joining the dashboard include:
- Access to the city's data on the City Health
Dashboard, initially including metrics such as
- Binge drinking
- Children in poverty
- Diabetes
- Limited access to healthy foods
- Uninsured
- Dental care
- Rent burden
- Broadband connection
- Smoking
- Cities will be able to use all the features of the Dashboard
- Support from the City Health Dashboard team to help understand and leverage the data
- A featured blog or Impact Story on the Dashboard, highlighting how health data makes a difference
Eligible applicants include U.S. municipalities, including cities, towns, townships, boroughs, and villages with populations 1,000 to 50,000. Individuals or teams represented by community members, policymakers, city government leaders and staff, students/student groups, teachers, and others are encouraged to apply. Partnerships showing existing cross-sector collaboration are encouraged.
