Wisconsin Opioid and Stimulant Unmet Treatment Needs Grants

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services will provide grants to support services for people with an opioid use disorder, stimulant use disorder, and other co-occurring substance use disorders in Wisconsin.
Applicants should focus on the following activities:
- Demonstrate full integration of agonist and partial agonist treatments for opioid use disorder, such as buprenorphine and methadone
- Target critical gaps in current service systems across diverse racial, ethnic, geographic, and other demographic groups
- Provide treatment for people with opioid use disorder, stimulant use disorder, and other concurrent substance use disorders
- Provide education on and distribution of naloxone and fentanyl test strips
- Offer recovery support services, such as peer support, recovery coaching, recovery housing, case management/wraparound services, and/or employment supports to individuals
All tribal nations and counties in Wisconsin are eligible to apply.
Priority consideration will be given to tribal nations and counties identified as high-need areas. A list of Wisconsin counties ranked in order of highest need is available in the application instructions.
Total available funding is $8,528,040.
The project period is 1 year.
