Indiana Employer Training Grant

The Indiana Employer Training Grant (ETG) will provide reimbursement grants for Indiana employers who train, hire, and retain new or incumbent workers to fill in-demand positions.
Priority job sectors include:
- Health and life sciences
- Transportation and logistics
- Agriculture
- Advanced manufacturing
- Information technology and business services
- Building and construction
For training to be eligible for reimbursement, it must:
- Be occupational skills training that ties to an in-demand occupation (onboarding training and informal job shadowing does not qualify)
- Be at least 40 hours in length resulting in a certificate or credential upon completion
- Ensure a wage gain of at least 3% at the completion of training for current employees trained to new skill sets or pay a minimum of $17 an hour for new employees
Indiana-based employers of any size are encouraged to apply.
Up to $5,000 per employee trained and retained for 6 months
Up to $50,000 per employer
Reimbursement amount is based upon the actual cost of training and the type of training provided.
