Sanford Health Rural EMT Educational Scholarships

Sanford Health Rural EMT Educational Scholarship program provides scholarships to residents seeking to earn EMT certification through a Sanford Health EMS Education Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course, which will enable them to work or volunteer for EMS services in rural areas of North Dakota and western Minnesota that have a Sanford presence.
Residents within driving distance of one of the Sanford Health EMS Education remote lab sites are eligible to apply. Remote lab sites include:
Minnesota:
- Luverne
- Thief River Falls
- Bagley
- Bemidji
North Dakota:
- Fargo
- Bismarck
- Dickinson
Students living in the cities of Fargo and Bismarck are not eligible.
Scholarships cover the costs of tuition, fees, and books. Students are responsible for all incidental costs, such as vaccines, travel, uniforms, and internet access.
