Native Youth on the Move Grants

Native Youth on the Move Grants will support existing projects that focus on improving and sustaining native youth health in New Mexico.
Core areas for projects include:
- Increasing opportunities for physical activity
- Increasing access to healthy and affordable foods
- Building youth leadership and advocacy
- Deepening cultural connections
Eligible applicants include:
- U.S. based Native American-controlled 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
- Federally or state recognized tribal governments or programs
- Native American community-based groups with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor
Award ceiling: $25,000
Project period: August 1, 2022 - January
15, 2024
