Delta Dental of South Carolina provides grants for projects designed to improve the oral health of South Carolina residents.
Program objectives include:
- Reduce oral disease through education, prevention, and treatment
- Ensure access to affordable, timely, and high-quality dental healthcare
- Enhance the awareness of good oral health with a focus on children, indigent, and other underserved populations
- Make a measurable difference in the oral health of the people of South Carolina, with an emphasis on underserved populations
- Ensure that South Carolina is among the states with the highest indicators of oral health
Preference will be given to proposals focused on increasing access to care in rural, dental health professional shortage areas and to proposals showing a dollar-for-dollar level of matching from other sources.
Eligible applicants must serve individuals in South Carolina and be a 501(c)(3) public charity, governmental entity, or academic institution.
Award ceiling: $100,000
Award floor: $5,000
Project period: 1 year
