New Hampshire Small Business Energy Audit Fund

The New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) will provide grants to cover 75% of the cost of comprehensive energy audits for New Hampshire agricultural producers and rural small businesses, including rural healthcare providers and health-related businesses.
Program objectives include:
- Provide access for New Hampshire businesses to
reduced cost energy audits in order to guide
implementation of comprehensive energy efficiency and
renewable energy installations that:
- Reduce operating costs
- Reduce energy use and related environmental impacts
- Improve non-energy benefits including building durability, occupant comfort and safety, and workplace productivity
- Provide technical assistance to prospective applicants as well as to contractors and partners including in the early stages of a project
- Coordinate with contractors, utilities and other partners to identify projects that might benefit from a broader assessment of energy opportunities
- Inform applicants about financial and technical resources from CDFA and other entities
- Inform prospects of CDFA's other programs about energy opportunities related to their proposed projects
To be eligible, New Hampshire agricultural producers and rural small businesses must meet the following criteria:
- Be a for-profit businesses with a location in New Hampshire
- Rural small businesses must be located in eligible rural areas
- Be a small business as defined by the Small Business Administration
Up to 75% of the cost of comprehensive energy audits
