Funding for tribes, tribal organizations, and urban Indian organizations to implement the Zero Suicide model which focuses on developing a system-wide approach to improving care for individuals at risk of suicide who are currently using health and behavioral health systems. Funds will support tribal and urban Indian healthcare facilities and systems that provide direct care services in order to raise awareness of suicide, establish integrated systems of care, and improve outcomes.
Eligible applicants include:
- Federally recognized tribes
- Tribal organizations
- Urban Indian organizations
Anticipated award range: $200,000 -
$300,000 per year
Project period: 5 years
Estimated number of awards: 8-10
Estimated total program funding:
$2,000,000
